Even the last few bits and pieces seemed to take ages. What I thought would be a couple of hours, turned into four. It's all done now and the bonnet fitted ready to go. I did a short shakedown run and came back with a couple of small leaks. One oily one from the oil pump to filter union at the pump end, and one wet one from a not too tight radiator hose. Soon fixed.
The old girl ran well, so well that I'll have trouble taking it easy while I run it in.
