Middle England Classic Vehicle Club Motorcycle Trial.

Something a bit different for us. We have marshaled on other trials but this one was run to different rules. Thankfully the rules were easier to follow. We arrived in plenty of time to sign on and find our section. Steep doesn't really describe it very well ( see videos). Initially we thought that we could cover the section from the bottom of the hill but that wasn't the case. Both of us scrambled up the muddy hill. Pam elected to go to the top so I was about half way up. There was no level ground to use our seats so we had to stand and it became quite uncomfortable after a while.

The riders were a great bunch and we had some good laughs throughout the day. Thankfully they were cracking on and we were all finished by about two instead of the expected four o clock.

We slipped & slid down the hill, made even more slick by the bikes and managed to get to the burger van before it closed. A cheeseburger and coffee went down a treat. After some good chat it was time to head for home. All we have to do now is clean all the mud from the interior of the MG3.
