This run had three options, start at Hatton Country World, start at Millets Farm or find your own way to Sudeley. We arrived at Hatton Country World to join the other 55 cars starting from there. Signing on was in the restaurant where many were taking advantage of the food. We were still stuffed from breakfast so gave it a miss.
Back out to the car park it was time to affix the rally plaque and take some photos. Once again, thanks to Pam for some of them.
Great roads, super scenery and wall to wall blue skies made it a superb run, with only one downside. I know it's not a race and you can travel at whatever speed you like, but please, if you are only going to do 30mph all the way, at least consider those who may prefer to go a bit quicker. It only takes a minute to pull over and let them past.
The miles flew by and we were soon at Sudely Castle where we joined those who had taken alternate routes.
We'd set the satnav for the trip home and were puzzled by the way it was taking us. We eventually gave up and joined the M40 so I knew where we were going. Pam investigated the satnav and found it was set to avoid motorways! I certainly don't remember setting that.
We arrived home just after 9pm having covered 474 breakdown free miles.
Thank you to all the MGB Register members who gave us such an enjoyable time.
