A couple of weeks ago the internal door handle on the 1971 MGB GT ceased to unlatch the locking mechanism and I had to wind down the window to use the external handle.
I eventually got round to investigating the problem and found that the latch assembly was broken. No problem, I'll buy a new one. A quick internet search revealed that they are about 200 quid!!!
A quick rethink and I found a second hand one on eBay for £24 including postage. I've just fitted it today and it works. All is well in my world again.
