Just received an email to say this year's event is cancelled.
Saltburn suffered serious flooding last weekend and the forecast is for heavy rain and gale force winds this weekend. Given that the Cat Nab car park, which we use as a paddock, was under a couple of feet of water last weekend, it's a wise decision.
There are a lot of high value vehicles attend this event and I can imagine the fun & games trying to get them out of the car park quickly if the river rises
