I've had a date pencilled in my diary for a while for a club road run. Exact location not known but normally about 100 mile run plus mileage to & from start/finish. I've done this run in past years and normally go in the TA.
At a club meeting on Thursday I found out about another club (different club) run for the Northern celebration of the MGB 50th anniversary. This is on the same date. It's a run of of about 40 miles each way to a display in a lovely location. Obviously this will mean taking the BGT.
Yesterday, in the mail was an invitation to the Saltburn Historic Motor Gathering. Yes, you've guessed it, the same date. This is a non competitive hill climb on a closed road. I could take either the TA or the BGT but I'm almost guaranteed a place with the TA.
I've made my decision but which would you go to and why?
